Playing in the sandpit

On Tuesday we used the sandpit to explore the concept of capacity.  We filled different sized containers and predicted which one would hold more sand.

Subitizing numbers to 10

We read a picture story book called Pig the Pug. We made our own Pugs!

St.Theresa's Feast Day

On Friday we celebrated St. Theresa's Feast Day with Mother of God school. We went to mass together and participated in lots of fun activities. We made a special wreath because St. Theresa was called the little flower.

Responsible Pet Ownership.

In our Inquiry unit this term we are learning how to look after and care for pets. We had a special guest speaker 'Maria' who came to visit us with her dog Elsie. Maria taught us so many things about looking after pet dogs.

Birthdays

We celebrated Ruby and Isaak's 6th birthdays.

Alex also had a birthday in the holidays.
